    Another CFB season-ending injury

    A huge piece of the Alabama defense will miss the rest of the year. Dont'a Hightower, star sophomore OLB for the Alabama defense, hurt his knee Saturday in the 35-7 against Arkansas, and will be out the remainder of the season. Huge, HUGE HUGE loss for the Bama defense, he was a starter and one of the best playmakers on the defense. He will be missed, and this could jeopardize Alabama's hope of a national title.

    He is not the first big name player and NFL prospect to be injured and out the rest of the year;

    Dont'a Hightower, LB, Alabama. Major player on the Bama defense, one of the best in the country.

    Robert Griffin, QB, Baylor. Best dual threat QB in the nation. I hate this, he was so exciting and fun to watch. Ruins Baylor's season.

    Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma. Best TE in the nation, a very huge part of the OU offense. If healthy draft day, will be a top 20 pick.

    Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame. ND's best player, and best pro prospect. Top 5 WR in CFB, great player. Injury really hurts the ND offense.

    Demarcus Granger, DT, Oklahoma. Along with McCoy make up the best DT combo in the nation. He is a pro prospect and a major talent.

    Matt Grothe, QB, South Florida. Their leader and best offensive player.

    Rob Grokowski, TE, Arizona. If Gresham is the best TE prospect, Gronokowski is 1B.
    (Ed Di-ckson is 1C, from Oregon, but he isn't hurt, he caught 3 TD's this week)

    Montez Billings, WR, Auburn. AU's leading receiver is out for the season.

    Vidal Hazleton, WR, Cincy. People who follow recruiting remember this name. Vidal is as talented as anyone in the country. He has had problems, and will not get to play any more this year. If he did, Cincy would hands down no contest have the best WR combo in the country with Gilyard.

    Trinton Sturdivant, OT, Georgia. This one is the worst IMO, only because he was hurt in the pre season last year and missed the whole season. He was a big part o the UGA line, and they will miss him.

    Jewel Hapton/Jayme Murphy, RB, Iowa. 1st and 2nd string Iowa RB's got hurt and will miss the rest of the year. Both went down before Labor Day.

    I have never seen a year with this many great players going to miss the rest of the season. Anyone I am forgetting?

    Sam Bradford may be done I suspect since hes taking a trip to meet James Andrews.

    I know hes not a NFL MLB but I sure hate to see Reviez go down for UT just due to his leadership and heart.

    They keep saying Braford is gonna play against Miami, but I dont think he should. He shouldnt rush, itll only hurt his NFL payday if he comes out and doesn't look healthy.

    UT has had two big injury losses, Reviez and Austin Rogers.
